In a career spanning 30 years, Hugh has worked in fintech, banking, engineering and consulting, and right across the value chain. 8 years of that was spent at HSBC where he built the internal consulting team Design & Initiation into a global service supporting all business lines and regions, with 120 staff across six offices, filling the gap between strategic intent and the execution of transformation. He was also a consultant with Booz Allen for 12 years, initially for consumer and retail clients before transitioning to financial services. Hugh has a passion for strategy-based transformation of businesses, and sees pricing as a powerful strategic lever for value creation.
Hugh enjoys running, renovating the family home, and making memories with his expanding family. He is married to Sammie, and they have five children and two grandchildren.
